MANGIA & BEVI resto-bar has become a downtown fixture for Italian food lovers who have come to find this hidden gem in the east side of Downton Toronto. We are one of the top Italian restaurants located on King Street, serving authentic Italian cuisine such as freshly made pizzas, pastas, and several other dishes.
Eleonora Caldato, the Italian-born, Toronto-based chef and business owner, has operated this premise for the past 16 years.
Originally from the Veneto region, north-east part of Italy, her expressive passion for food and business, couple with the dedicated customer base she built, has made her a staple for Toronto “authentic Italian food culture”. The network of friends, families and patrons alike, it’s a rare but relished energy few businesses can achieve.
“Authenticity and delicious simplicity” she says “it’s what Italian food is all about! There is your basic formula, the rest is about having fun with it.”
